Time flies when you’re having fun, doesn’t it" The Mortal Kombat series has been around for 25, and the Mortal Kombat Community is celebrating with a video overview of the iconic video game series. Since Mortal Kombat is well-known for its violence, this video is just a bit on the violent side.

The Mortal Kombat series started in 1992 and has 22 titles under its belt, with the latest release being Mortal Kombat XL in 2016. As stated above, the series is well-known for its violent and gruesome Fatalities, specials that can sometimes involve literally ripping the spine out of your enemy. Of course, the series’ violence made quite a splash in 1993, where blood and gore were largely unseen in Western console gaming.
