Hello Games? No Man?s Sky is next on the steadily growing list of games that are adding a cross-play feature. Cross-platform multiplayer between the PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One platforms will be made available tomorrow, June 11th, through a free update.
The studio announced the exciting news in a blog post on No Man?s Sky?s official website. According to Creative Director Sean Murray, cross-play has secretly been in the works ?for the last few months.? Such a feature will allow players regardless of platform to explore, build, and trade together in the vast universe that makes up No Man?s Sky. Murray previously teasing the game?s ?ambitious? 2020 additions especially makes sense now.
