Dying Light 2 Will Have a Cross-Generation Release, Says Techland Dev
Dying Light 2 is set to launch for the PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in early 2020. Speculation suggests the next-generation of console hardware will hit stores later that same year. Might this mean the Techland sequel will eventually release on the next PlayStation and Xbox consoles" According to one developer from the studio, that is indeed the plan.
Previously, Techland spoke of next-gen consoles only to assure that their arrival will not stymie support of Dying Light 2 on this generation?s hardware. Now the developer is outright confirming ports for the still untitled next-gen devices. This much was relayed to Wccftech in a recent interview with the studio?s Chief Technology Officer, Pawe? Rohleder. When asked whether there were plans to bring the Dying Light follow-up to the new consoles when they launch, Rohleder noted the following: ?Techland always has an eye on the latest new toys! To be more specific?yes, the plan since the beginning of production has been to make Dying Light 2 a cross-generation title.?
