Fallout 76 Hype Campaign Wants You to Actually Visit West Virginia



Watch out, everyone! A video game is trying to convince people to go outside! Specifically, Fallout 76 is the culprit. Bethesda Studios is collaborating with the state of West Virginia in a nifty tourism campaign to promote the scenic wonders the state has to offer. Details on promotional offers, exclusive tours, and ?Vault Boy sightings? will be released in the coming weeks, so stay tuned if you?re around the area and want to be involved.

This Fallout 76 campaign means the Vault Boys are in the wild. The West Virginia Tourism site has placed markers on a map where they have been spotted and encourages explorers to be on the look out for more at ?Almost Heaven? events. If you do happen across a Vault Boy, take a photo and post it to relevant social channels with the #AlmostHeaven hashtag. Doing so gives you a chance at receiving what the site is calling ?Reclamation Day party favors.? Below are some of the locations where Vault Boy has already been spotted:
