For Honor Suffering From Matchmaking Issues, List of Bugs Released



Ubisoft’s heavily anticipated medieval combat game For Honor released yesterday, and early impressions have largely been positive. That said, the game isn’t without its issue and as noted in PlayStation LifeStyle’s review of the Ubisoft Montreal developed game, the game currently has some wonky matchmaking. Players on all platforms are getting told that they don’t reach the requirements for multiplayer matches, and instances where the matchmaking just straight up fails. This is certainly not ideal for a multiplayer-oriented title.
On top of the matchmaking issues, there are some bugs that are popping up in competitive play. Ubisoft has released a list of known issues in the game (although it’s non-exhaustive) that could impact games over on their official forums. Most of them are exclusive to PC at the moment, so we’ve posted the issues relevant to PS4 players below: [XB1 & PS4] NAT Type Group Issues

Groups with more than 1 Strict NAT are not recommended as they will not be able to reach matchmaking.
Workaround: Preferably invite friends with open or moderate NAT types.

[XB1 & PS4] Mixed Regions Group Connectivity Issues

Players may encounter connectivity issues if their group contains players from different regions (example : North America and Europe).
Workaround: It?s not recommended to create mixed region groups.
