When we last saw our favorite midway juggernaut, the series was knee-deep in the middle of a transitional process. While it was visually looking better than ever and making further steps to cement the realism through enhanced physics and animation systems, there were still plenty of areas where the lack of progress continued to be a lightning rod for criticism.
