No Man’s Sky Is Getting “At Least One More Major Update” This Week
Following the release of No Man’s Sky update 1.07 for PlayStation 4 over the weekend, Hello Games’ Sean Murray has revealed that “at least one more major update” will be out this week, and one entered testing yesterday. Specific details on the upcoming patch weren’t given, but it will aim to tackle some of the remaining 20% of current support requests. Once all 100% of the support requests have been answered, Hello Games “can begin improving the game with new features,” which include the ability to build bases and own giant space freighters.
“Right now the team is fully focused on categorizing and fixing support issues in order of priority, based on the number of people they are affecting,” Murray added. “The information and crash dumps you?ve posted have been indispensable in helping us track down and fix these issues.” Here’s full details on everything included inside No Man’s Sky updates 1.04, 1.05, 1.06, and 1.07, which Murray hopes “really improve the experience for everybody:”
