No Man’s Sky Limited Edition Box’s Concealed Online Play Logo Was an Error
Owners of the European version of No Man’s Sky Limited Edition noticed something on the box that had them speculating about the game’s online play component and age rating.
Apparently, a sticker was used to conceal a small part of the original box, which shows an age rating of PEGI 12 instead of the current PEGI 7 and has an online play logo. You can check the images out below.Â
When contacted by several publications, Sony released a statement denying rumors of making any changes to the final game and said that the original print was a result of a “production error,” which was rectified by the sticker. Here’s what the company told Eurogamer:
Incorrect descriptors were incorporated into the original No Man’s Sky limited edition packaging. This was a production issue and was rectified using placement stickers.
In related news, Hello Games has said that it’s aware of issues that players are experiencing and is working on a patch. You can read more on that here.
