We have another No Man?s Sky update, folks. Last time we talked, we were treated to the Pilgrim Exocraft, along with an overhaul of Exocraft mechanics and customization. This week, patch 1.64 introduces a new Community Research update.
Here’s the official description for the new No Man’s Sky quest:
Data is one of Polo?s greatest passions?but friendship is even more important to them. The Space Anomaly has detected the ship signature of an old Traveller-friend?someone Nada and Polo had thought lost long ago. Polo requests that explorers venture forth, locate their friend, and bring them home?but ensure to keep a low profile and not draw the eye of the Sentinels.
New collectibles are also available for players to grab. You can now find and display statues of the iconic Alpha Vector starship, cast in either, bronze, silver, or gold. There are also two new gadgets available for explorer bases: A spherical hologram and an expanding cube. The planetary hologram can represent any of the many planets a player can visit. A new gesture has also been added. Now, players can throw their arms to the sky and gawk at the wonders of the stars, above. Praise the stars!
