Overwatch’s Ashe is Now Live on Consoles, Hero Changes and Bug Fixes Included in Update Patch Notes



Blizzard didn’t waste any time after announcing Ashe as the 29th hero in Overwatch, fully releasing her only eleven days later. The latest Overwatch update brings the character out of the PTR (public test realm) and sets her live for all players, consoles included. The update also made a number of changes to other heroes on the roster, including a buff to Mercy and some significant changes to Roadhog, as well as numerous bug fixes that should alleviate some player frustrations.
Get ready for a pretty hefty download though. Blizzard said that this latest Overwatch patch is so big because it acts almost as a remaster for the game, which has been out for more than two years now. Players will need to reinstall the entire game in order to gain access to the gunslinging Ashe and the rest of the hero changes and bug fixes that come with the update. New Hero: Ashe (Damage):
Ashe?s arsenal of weapons makes her a versatile offensive hero, capable of setting up the perfect situation to shoot down dangerous enemies from range or deal high area-of-effect burst damage to groups of heroes.
