Confirming the previous leaks, Blizzard has announced that the Overwatch Halloween Terror event is now live on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Running from October 11 to November 1, Halloween Terror is a brand new seasonal event that lets you explore the haunted streets of Hollywood, collect themed items, and participate in the first-ever PvE brawl, Junkenstein’s Revenge.
With Junkenstein’s Revenge, you team up with three other players and face off against a number of enemies, including Dr. Junkenstein himself, Junkenstein’s Monster, the Reaper, a mysterious witch, and host of shambling zomnics. You’ll be able to choose from the Alchemist (Ana), the Archer (Hanzo), the Gunslinger (McCree), or the Soldier (Soldier: 76) as you defend the Lord of Adlersbrunn’s castle doors. You can learn more about the story in the Junkstein digital comic. Starting today, all in-game Loot Boxes have been replaced with special glowing jack-o’-lanterns, and they’re filled to the brim with over 100 new cosmetic treats!
