Rainbow Six Siege’s 4.2 Update Finally Fixes Clash Invincibility Exploit, Will Go Live on Consoles Soon

It?s frustrating to get defeated in a multiplayer game, especially when the person on the other end is cheating. Rainbow Six Siege is no stranger to this, but one of its most pesky exploits has been patched on PC, with an update to come to consoles shortly thereafter. Previously, players were able to use the Clash operator to become seemingly invincible, allowing them to guard with her shield while shooting other players simultaneously. These issues have been plaguing the community since at least July 2019, with the operator being temporarily removed so Ubisoft could work on her. This update re-enables Clash with the exploit reportedly fixed.
While that?s the headline fix for this patch, it?s certainly not the only thing that was updated. Prop destruction, clipping hitboxes, and numerous Operator, level design, and UX fixes were all added in this update as well.
