Rainbow Six Siege’s Latest Update Balances Ballistic Shields and Operators
Ubisoft has released the latest patch notes for the team-based tactical shooter, Tom Clancy?s Rainbow Six Siege. The Y4S2.3 update released on July 22, 2019 for PC and today for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game. It focuses on balancing the game?s Ballistic Shields, Operators and abilities, and fixes some bugs too. The new update also further improves the game?s anti-griefing system as well. All of these changes should result in a more enjoyable experience for players.
Some things of note with the game?s Operators and abilities in this update include changes to hip firing accuracy when a character is using a Ballistic Shield, and to the amount of melee damage a player can deal with a Ballistic Shield. Some of the Operator changes include a reduction to the amount of time that a character remains stunned by Echo?s Yokai Sonic Burst ability (down to 7 seconds from 10 seconds), and an increase to the sound made by Maverick?s Torch, meaning it will be easier for players to hear him breaching a wall when nearby.
