Remedy has just released the full fifth developer diary for their new supernaturally powered action-shooter, Control. We showed off the video diary’s three-minute preview not too long ago in anticipation. In the video, which you can see below, Creative Director Sam Lake and Narrative Systems Designer Eevi Korhonen discuss the role and motivations of Zachariah Trench, the former Director of the Federal Bureau of Control, and Jesse Faden, the game?s protagonist who finds herself stepping into Trench?s shoes as the bureau?s new director. There to give further insight into the two characters are James McCaffrey, the voice of Trench, formerly the voice of Max Payne, and Courtney Hope, who plays Faden.
You can get a better look at the dedication both performers put into their characters as the game progressed, below, where both McCaffrey and Hope literally embodied the roles to help developers bring them to life.
