Square Enix has revealed that it has banned over 9,000 Final Fantasy XIV accounts for violating the game?s terms of service by partaking in illicit activities such as real money trading. According to the publisher, such activities upset the game?s balance.
The accounts were banned during the five-day period between July 25th and July 31st. A notice on the game?s website reads:
