The Last Guardian Soundtrack Is Getting an App & Vinyl Release

Sony released a brand new video, which you can watch above, showing off how the music was made for the game.
They also revealed that The Last Guardian will feature a custom audio mode for those that own PlayStation Headsets. The mode will “deliver a fine-tuned audio experience engineered for maximum immersion.” Players just have to download and activate this mode on their Headset Companion app to check it out. That’s not the only app, though, as the soundtrack will be released in what is being called the Composer’s Choice music app. Here’s the full rundown on the app, courtesy of the PlayStation Blog:
We?re happy to announce that a The Last Guardian Composer?s Choice PS4 Music App of the score featuring 19 tracks will be available separately at launch via the PlayStation Store. The soundtrack app supports both stereo and surround playback, and also allows users to export all the tracks as stereo MP3 files via a compatible USB drive. The soundtrack will also be available via iTunes at a later date.
A vinyl release of the original soundtrack will then come in December. While pricing and an exact date isn’t available yet, Sony did show off ...
