After the recent success of Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment?s newest battle royale game, many were wondering what would happen to the Titanfall franchise. At first, it seemed like Apex Legends was going to be a mainline Titanfall game, but that did not come to be. It sort of turned into a game simply set in the same universe. Nevertheless, we are expecting to see another Titanfall game this year, according to a Game Informer report. A statement from Andrew Wilson, CEO of EA, suggested a different take on the series. ?Respawn also plans to launch a premium game this year that is a new twist on the Titanfall universe,? he stated. ?More to come on that in the months ahead.?
