Assumedly Krillin won’t marry this Android.
Japanese magazine V Jump has confirmed three new characters for Dragon Ball FighterZ. Fan favorites Tien Shinhan and Yamcha will join the game’s roster (with the lovable Chiaotzu also confirmed as an assist character), and an original character called Android 21 will play a key part in the fighting game’s story mode. Few details are out about the female android, but we do know that she was designed by series creator Akira Toriyama. Check below for pictures of the new characters.
A closed beta is currently ongoing this weekend (check out the full schedule if you got in). There?ll also be another beta in January, that?ll be a bonus for those that pre-order. It?ll also come with early unlocks of two characters (SSGSS Goku and SSGSS Vegeta), and two exclusive lobby avatars. More details about the open beta will be announced at a later date. Since it is a Dragon Ball game, there?s also a big focus on mobility. By hitting the right trigger, players can use a special homing dash that?ll avoid Ki attacks. That?s not all, as they can also do a warp attack called Vanish that has players teleport behind their opponent and land an attack. That costs a guage of energy, though, so it?s important that these special moves are used in moderation.
